ABOUT THE OWNER
Sydney Carter is the owner, hairstylist and mastermind behind the On the Glow and Glamper Mobile Beauty Bar. Since finishing cosmetology training in 2011, she has been passionate about creating art through the styling of hair. Sydney started the business which became On the Glow when she renovated 1952 camper into her mobile studio in 2020. When she's not improving upon the locks of someone's head, she can be found traveling with her hubby, cuddling with her fur babies, enjoying nature, eating seafood or with her nose in a good book.
Our Makeup Artist
Jamey Olson is our lead makeup artist. Her and Sydney have been friends for many years, they were even roommates right out of beauty school! She graduated beauty school in 2014 as an esthetician, and even as a little girl she loved to play with makeup.
Jamey has worked with brands like STILA, LORAC, PERRY ELLIS, and TARTE as a traveling MUA. She has worked runways, magazine prints, and commercials.
Jamey loves to see the look on clients faces when they turn around in the chair and feel their most confident. When she isn't applying makeup, she can be found at home with her two kids, Oliver & Lily, cooking for friends, making TikTok's, or listening to true crime podcasts.
